What The Students At This Singapore International School Get Up To OUTSIDE The Classroom

Learning outside the classroom

Experiential learning (i.e., the process of learning through experience) is a big part of the educational emphasis at GEMS World Academy (Singapore).

Every GWA student can participate in Experiential Learning Programmes (ELP) with the support of dedicated Experiential Learning Programme Coordinators and the school’s passionate teachers.

What makes this programme valuable is the level of reflection it requires. This helps link each child’s experience back to the school curriculum, add value to their academic progress, personal development and to the learning opportunities on the table, all while facilitating effective community participation within the student body.

Recently, students from Grade 6 visited Australia while students from Grades 7 to 10 went to Thailand. Check out what they got up to!
