For unconventional arts

Want to witness some - we'd like to call it - dark arts? Winnie recommends Art after Dark at Gillman Barracks, a late-night open house held every few months. Check their Facebook event calendar to be in the loop.

For sweet treats

“I love the soft serve and waffles at Sunday Folks, which is conveniently located next to Bynd Artisan’s atelier,” says Winnie, who’s also a fan of the cafe’s Lemon Lavender cake served warm.

For local designer finds

“Singapore has a lot of talented designers worth discovering,” contends Winnie. “A trip to K+ at Scotts Square or Supermama at Beach Road is a must.”
